China E-Power, the leading power exhibition in China, was taking place in Shanghai from 21st – 23rd April, 2010. The main topics on display were power generation, power transmission and distribution, power automation, power construction, energy conservation, environmental protection and electric products.

The Beijing office of infoteam Software attended this show as exhibitor in booth 1A30. "infoteam delivers software solutions to control and monitor the generation, transmission and distribution of electrical power. Therefore China E-Power is an important show case for us," explains Ye Zhijun, Sales Representative for the Asian-Pacific market. "We are happy with the results.

China E-Power tradeshow offers a B2B business matchmaking program for both domestic and international participants to expand their business network. Along with the exhibition, it also consist focused technical seminars and a high-level conference to address the latest trend and industry challenges.

infoteam Software's seminar "Open Software Innovations for Power Generation and Transmission in Europe" during China E-Power trade show was well-visited. The topics of the seminar covered were

infoteam Software introduced a new generation of power automation software in China, which is already used by major European suppliers for their proprietary control systems in turbine control and monitoring as well as power transmission and distribution. The software includes engineering tools like continuous function charts CFC for power applications and redundant runtime systems based on real-time Linux. It is supplemented by a transient fault recorder tool based on historical real-time data. infoteam supplies these software to China’s power plants and power transmission equipment enterprises to provide secure, reliable and efficient world-class industrial software. In extending its software services, infoteam will enable China's power equipment enterprises to develop their own intellectual property and deliver leading edge products for the Chinese power industry.
