Online monitoring Particularly remote hydroelectric power plant and long-distance transmission system sites need to be able to monitor fault detection equipment and metering devices via the Internet. A concrete example of this is the Java-based human-machine interface we developed for one of our major clients. It enables the operator to configure the metering device directly on-site in exactly the same way as from the central control room.
