Under the slogan "iAutomation" infoteam Software is demonstrating an intuitive and user-friendly system for controlling industrial installations using the iPad. The software used is the infoteam IEC 61131 OpenPCS programming system.

Interactive human-machine communication combines with intuitive user interfaces that are familiar to all iPad or iPhone users. This is an increasingly popular trend in the field of industrial automation. Smartphones and TabletPCs are now being used as remote control and monitoring devices. All functions and applications that need to be operated in harsh environments can be accessed clearly and quickly anywhere. The fields of application are diverse and include building automation (lighting, blinds and doors), controlling agricultural machinery, as well as solar installations and wind turbines.

Everybody is familiar with it, everybody has it. Who needs additional documentation, time-consuming training courses or maintenance services? This approach delivers significant cost savings. Operator errors are avoided and, despite the comprehensive functionality involved, the application is fun to use.
In addition, infoteam is offering free consultancy to all interested visitors to SPS/IPC/Drives in the form of an all-day workshop. Consulting vouchers are available in Hall 7A, Stand 130.
