infoteam Software announces the launch of its new customer web access. The project was initiated to improve customer satisfaction and it is based on Microsoft’s Team Foundation Server 2008 (TFS). With this new tool customers are given a consistent insight on infoteam’s product development. Periodically the company has been publishing a product roadmap to support this goal. Furthermore customers can monitor the status of their own change requests and inquiries and take an active impact on the progress.
Technically the TFS is based on a SQL database and a web frontend. Installation is therefore unnecessary. infoteam provides a safe customer login which can be accessed web-based or mobile via VPN. New features, e.g. menu items justification, history, analysis and item life diagram is available for each CRQ.
Improved transparency in product development
Customer satisfacation depends strongly on a product‘s quality and its cost-performance-ratio but. But also the following factors have to be kept in mind: a good customer service, the kindness of staff, availability by phone, reliability of delivery promises, goodwill or the service in case of queries. „Our priorities can be summed up like this: Every customer contact is to be treated in due time and efficiently to the fullest satisfaction of our customer“, explains Dr. Wolfgang Brendel, managing Director of infoteam Software GmbH. „Clearly communication must not be a one-way street. By our new customer web access infoteam underlines its strategy towards an open and transparent multi-channel dialogue with customers.“
Visitors of this year’s trade show SPS/IPC/DRIVES (November 24th-26th, 2009) are invited to take a closer look at the performance of infoteam’s new web access. It will be demonstrated in a live-presentation at infoteam’s booth 130 in hall 7a.
