infoteam at Shanghais Green Environments & Smart Grids Forum on May 4,2010

Shanghai

The production of electrical energy is an incredibly important issue for modern 21st century societies. Generating power from a wide variety of sources, transmitting it across long distances, and finally distributing it to all consumers are the main challenges. infoteam is offering software solutioans for safe and smart grids. The company provides ready-to-run software for the efficient use of raw materials and power to companies which offer products and services that make use of these technologies:

  • Configuration tools
  • Gas turbine control
  • Vibration monitoring
  • Lubrication optimization
  • Operator station software
  • Fault detection and logging
In addition, our range of services means that additional tools and programs can be developed. Particularly remote hydroelectric power plant and long-distance transmission system sites need to be able to monitor fault detection equipment and metering devices via the Internet. A concrete example of this is the Java-based human-machine interface we developed for one of our major clients. It enables the operator to configure the metering device directly on-site in exactly the same way as from the central control room.

China is already established as provider of new regenerative technologies. Still there are vast market opportunities for companies from Europa or event the US. The demand is very high. Chinese providers do take quality into consideration, as well as service and the idea in-/out-put relation, as the German Global Trade Forum Berlin explains this event. Under this circumstance, the development of clean renewable energies has not only become the inevitable trend of world energy development, but also the inevitable choice of China’s energy strategy.

Power Summit China is bringing together industry key players to discuss opportunities, bottlenecks and innovations in this important and growing industry.Highlights of the event agenda are i.e. topics like better power generation and higher efficiency achieved by new developments for "clean technologies", strategies for risk assessment and minimizing in investing in energy projects or the vision of increasing efficency in China's energy transmission and its distribution.
