infoteam Software changed from a limited liability company to a joint stock corporation. So far, 10 employees have held all the shares. This offers more employees ownership participation in the company. Karl-Heinz John will be CEO of the newly formed infoteam Software AG. Up to now Karl-Heinz John was head of management of infoteam Software GmbH in Bubenreuth, Germany. infoteam owns subsidiaries in Switzerland and China.
Michael Sperber and Stefan Angele have both been members of the board of directors for several years. Together they will form the new management trio with John as Executive Chairman. Company founder Dr. Brendel will be seeing to the international business development especially for China and Switzerland. Furthermore he will be joining the Supervisory Board of the newly formed infoteam Software stock corporation as Chairman.

There are structural changes involved with the change of the company's legal form. infoteam is pooling its business into three units: Industry, Healthcare and Life Science. The sales department which used to be run centrally will now be integrated into the business units and therfore moves closer to the technical departments.
By pooling the know-how of technical staff, consultants and the sales department within the three new business units the company will be able to provide efficient and better customer-focussed service.

The subsidiaries in China and Switzerland are to be incorporated into the company group. Both companies see to their home markets more and more autonomously. infoteam‘s sales representative office in Beijing (founded 2005) is currently transformed into an "Engineering Office" and will soon be reformed into a wholly foreign owned enterprise (WFOE), a 100 % owned subsidiary. Yunhao Jiang will remain managing director.

Same targets. Just some alignments necessary.

“infoteam is proudly looking back onto very good business years in 2008 and 2009, despite the global economic crisis. Sales increased by 25,4 % in 2009. We achieved an average growth of 20% during the last seven years. Sales targets for 2010 aim high: we plan to reach 8.5 million Euros in 2010 – just for the Bubenreuth office, and we are on a very good path", says Karl-Heinz John. “The change of infoteam's legal form and the accompanying restructuring process will lay the foundation for our future success for the coming decades."
