With further development of the integration of the global economy, foreign manufacturers and enterprises are paying more and more attention to the Chinese market, while the domestic enterprises are eager to know more about the outside world. It became the main task for CAMETA to open up the world of high-tech, to speed up the development of automation, to promote new technologies and to continue with the academic exchanges.

As one of the first group of enterprise associations that were authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade, CAMETA has held numerous international exhibitions during the past years. Since 1995, 10 FA/PA Fairs (the International Exhibition of Modern Factory Automation Technology and Equipment) were successfully held by CAMETA, being one of the best automation Fair held annually in China. The exhibitions attracts a large number of visitors every year and the area of the exhibition has expanded from thousands of square meters to nearly 10 thousand square meters. The technology-related lectures and seminars conducted during the exhibitions were highly praised by the audience from various fields both home and abroad.

In 2009 FA/PA Fair will be held again this year in the Beijing International Exhibition center.
