The Embedded Software Engineering Kongress is the only German-language convention that focuses exclusively on the manifold issues and challenges with respect to the development of device and system software for industrial applications, automobile electronics, telecom devices and systems as well as consumer and medical devices.

With 587 participants and a fully booked exhibition, the premiere of the first Embedded Software Engineering Kongress in 2008 was a huge success. A total of 250 companies and universities participated as consultants, visitors, presenters, moderators, sponsors and exhibitors.
