Free OpenPCS programming licenses!

The use of the infoteam OpenPCS IEC 61131-3 automation suite is free of charge and needs no registration. It enables application programmers to develop IEC 61131-3 programs and use infoteams simulation environment on any PC. This is a major benefit compared to other products, where end users would have to purchase the engineering tools beside the controller software components. In addition the end user is not limited to one workstation for application development. The OpenPCS Automation Suite allows developing PLC, DCS and RTU application programs without the limitation of license fees and copy protection schemes.

SmartPLC Source Development License

SmartPLC/embedded runtime system is the perfect choice if you want to implement IEC61131-3 on your controller platform. It comes in ANSI-C source code without royalties to give you total control over your products. The SmartPLC runtime system development license contains anything you will need to implement IEC 61131-3 on a dedicated controller:

• SmartPLC/embedded runtime system source code in ANSI-C
• OEM interface kit for integration of custom tools
• Simulation GUI source code for OEM specific adaptation

Small Business Edition

If you are a machine builder or a systems integrator, our seat license model will be the perfect choice after you finished the development phase. It is intended for application programmers using OpenPCS to program IEC 61131-3 applications on your SmartPLC embedded controller:

• Yearly subscription license per PC;
• Unlimited number of controllers;

OEM Business Edition

If you are a PLC or DCS system manufacturer who sells its product to machine builders or system integrators, our unlimited resale license model is perfect for your business model. The Resale License is based on a yearly flat rate per controller design, so there are no royalty payments to track for the devices. OEMs are able to predict the cost of the IEC 61131-3 system, especially when product volumes are growing:

• The Resale License will be renewed automatically and has to be paid each year in advance.
• The contract may be terminated with a three months notice to the end of the yearly period.

Brand Labeling Edition

This is the key to establish your own brand of tools. infoteam grants its OEM customers limited, non-exclusive, world-wide, irrevocable and non-transferable license rights to

• Change name of OpenPCS to some arbitrary OEM product label;
• Replace infoteam logos by OEM logo;
• Reprint user manual in OEM style to preserve the corporate identity of the OEM as described in the associated documentation;
• Modify the help files to include OEM specific information like descriptions for OEM specific function blocks
